Terms Of Service

All the data, including text & images (all supported formats) must be submitted to dtnetdesign by the CLIENT during the brainstorm session & the CLIENT ensures that the material provided is free from copyright claims, dtnetdesign reserves its right to reject any content that are :

  • Obscene
  • Vulgar
  • Contains Nudity
  • Posts in forms of attacks to any other organizations, within or out of Malaysia
  • Images that are found to be copyrighted by our basic review, we ONLY do a basic review of submitted materials, the CLIENT is responsible for all materials provided to detnetdesign
  • Provocative by nature (Religious/Politics)
  • Found to have links that support/fund terrorism
  • If the CLIENT have opted for our services to create the content of the website, the material that we will use would be/include :

  • Royalty Free unless designed by dtnetdesign
  • Contains an attribution to the original designer/author unless designed by dtnet
  • WILL BE Showcased to CLIENT for review
  • The Information, including any material support containing Information, will remain theexclusive property of the disclosing Party (client) and the receiving Party will not acquire any right, title, license or interest on or to the Information.
  • If any legal issues arises from the material provided by the CLIENT, the CLIENT is responsible for all legal fees/efforts pertaining to the claim made by the claiming party.

  • Dtnetdesign leases a domain name on behalf of a CLIENT from one of the available domain leasing companies which dtnetdesign deems suitable & registers the domain with the details provided by the client via email/DTNETportal. Upon completion of project and receiving any outstanding cost from the CLIENT, dtnetdesign will allow the client to utilize the domain name on any platform (explicit sites (MCMC forbidden) excluded).
  • Depending on the term agreed (1/2/3/5 Year) for the domain lease, dtnetdesign will alert the CLIENT 2 Weeks before the domain expiry, if the CLIENT opts dtnetdesign to manage the domain renewal. We do not provide auto renewal services due to security reasons *we do not store any card/banking details.
  • If the CLIENT opts to manage the domain name, we advise the CLIENT to set a reminder to renew the domain name, dtnetdesign do not take responsibility for any domain names expired which are managed by the CLIENT himeslf/herself.
  • Dtnetdesign also doesnt take responsibility for the domain name expiry of any CLIENT who doesnt opt to renew their domain.
  • Dtnetdesign will examine the hardware with the CLIENT present. Upon examination we will provide a quotation within 2-3 Malaysian Working days. If the client agrees with the quotation we will collect the FULL payment for parts & repair before collecting the faulty device.
  • Repairs are done within 3 - 5 working days, depending on the part availability & tested before handed out to the client with the warranty details of the replaced parts. We can assist the client to register the part but the warranty claim process shall be done by the client himself/herself.
  • The warranty CLAIM PROCESS will be handled by dtnetdesign for only 3 weeks after repair, after 3 weeks, the warranty will remain for the same duration but the claims are done by the CLIENT to the supplier for better transparency.
  • We do not repair stolen/banned goods, the CLIENT is responsible for all legal fees & efforts if any device is found to be stolen/banned. We also reserve our right to report the individual to the authorities if the device is found to be stolen.
  • Upon confirming the project the CLIENT is required to pay 50% as a deposit before dtnetdesign commences the project & the remaining 50% of the outstanding after the completion of the project,1 week after the site is made live.
  • Dtnetdesign reserves its right to suspend any site/domain of any CLIENT that fails to pay the remaining outstanding fee, also resulting the initial 50% deposit to be forfeit.
  • All materials provided by the CLIENT will be removed from all of our storage mediums - Online/Offline before terminating an agreement with a CLIENT that couldnt settle any agreed outstanding with dtnetdesign
  • For CLIENTS that opt for a remote session with us, we would advise the CLIENT to adhere to the points below :

  • Do not leave any banking/personal sites open prior to commencing a remote session
  • Dtnetdesign doesnt make random connections to client machines, we only connect while the CLIENT is on a phone call with us, with an authorization from the CLIENT
  • Any remote work is done with the CLIENT ONLY on call/video, unless requested by the CLIENT himself/herself
  • No charges will be made to diagnose an issue remotely
  • For a site visit dtnetdesign will charge RM50 - 80 for travelling fees within Klang Valley depending on the location.
  • The CLIENT is required to make an Online/T&G transfer after agreeing with the diagnosis before troubleshooting is attempted.
  • For an On-site visit, the CLIENT is Required to pay the travelling fee + troubleshooting fee to the onsite technician - Cash/T&G/Bank Transfer
  • We reserve the right to terminate a remote session if we deem the CLIENT doesnt have rights to use the device in session.
  • The fee for support services will be included on the yearly billing only if the CLIENT opts for support services from dtnetdesign, the services supported will include :

  • Password Resets
  • Account Related Issues
  • Amendments to site design & content - Only dtnetdesign sites
  • Site visit reports - By request only
  • Ad-Hoc Services : Color, Add users (functional site), changing existing functions
  • Security patches
  • For functional sites, the change of an existing function may take up to 15 days depending on the requested functionality
  • The support fee is collected annually.
  • For a new function to be added an hourly charge of RM80 will be charged to the CLIENT, an estimate will be provided before commencing, depending on the requested function. The CLIENT can opt to pay after completion & testing the new function, for the total hours.
  • We follow Malaysian office hours for support : 9AM to 5PM Malaysian Time, weekdays only.
  • All cases logged via DTNETportal will be updated on the case notes by the attending technician & history of cases logged by the user will be stored on our system for future reference. All data stored (dtnetportal) are data related to dtnetdesign & functions to improve our services only
